Cover of the Exchanges Journal, Vol 10, Issue 2

This is the twenty-fourth overall and fifth special issue of Exchanges, first published in March 2023. The contents for this issue derive from a British Academy funded project – The Anthropocene and More-Than-Human World and its associated writing workshops. As such the issue draws together a range of articles inspired by the workshop and contributed by participants. Topics in this issue include: Aesthetics of disability, artificial pollinators and multispecies justice, conceptualizing the more-than-human world, empathy and Asian American sci-fi, ethnographic ecofeminism market gardening and soil care textiles and indigenous knowledge, the Great Barrier Reef and finally, Whaling and the Portuguese Empire. The Editor-in-Chief’s editorial briefly introduces the special issue, alongside updating readers of policy developments and future contribution opportunities while also highlighting Exchanges’ latest podcast episodes.
