Chief Editor Transition: Support Arrangements
The incumbent Editor-in-Chief of Exchanges will be departing from mid-September, and arrangements are in place to provide support ahead of their successor's appointment.
With the forthcoming departure in mid-September of long-time Editor-in-Chief, Dr Gareth J Johnson, to a new role heading up development at the University of Warwick Press, there will be a period of transition as their successor is recruited. During this time the staff at the Institute of Advanced Study (IAS), where Exchanges is based, will provide support and advice to contributors and editors alike via the general Exchanges email.
Authors with papers currently under publication consideration are advised to contact their assigned editorial team member in the first instance with any questions during this time.
We will make an announcement concerning the new Chief Editor, as soon as they are in post.
While we hope any period of transition will be as brief as possible, but our apologies in advance for any reduction in speed to the resolution of enquiries or attention to new submissions during this time.
