Vol. 12 No. 3 (2025): Special Issue: Research Culture '25

This is the thirty-second issue of Exchanges, first published in August 2025. This edition is a special issue comprising entirely of papers drawn from and inspired by the International Research Culture Conference (IRCC) hosted at the University of Warwick (Sept '24). It follows the earlier (Vol 11(3)) special issue from the previous conference. The issue contains a range of papers including elements of practice, policy, case study and personal reflection all relating to research culture, along with observations on the configuration of the conference itself. Alongside this, the editorial also provides updates on forthcoming editorial changes alongside a content overview, as well as a guide to forthcoming issues, contribution opportunities and social media activities.

Exchanges is a Diamond Open Access (no fees or article processing charges) journal, normally published in Spring and Autumn each year. Additional special issues appear at other times.

Open Call for Papers: Future Issues

Exchanges maintains an open call for papers for all submissions to future regular editions of the journal throughout the year. The Editorial Board invites high-quality article submissions in any of our standard formats from researchers from all academic fields, especially those demonstrating elements of interdisciplinary or multi-disciplinary content. We especially value submissions from early career and post-graduate researchers.
