Best of 2024: Most Popular Articles, Issues & Podcasts
The annual listing of the most popular publications from Exchanges is now available, with a few surprises along the way.
Every year, we collate a list of the most popular articles (by download) and since 2021 we’ve also been able to feature the most listened to episodes of the podcast too. This year, we’re also able to share with you the most popular whole issue of the journal as well.

As well as the most popular articles across the whole of our back catalogue, this year we have also been able to identity the most popular papers in each of the four issues of Exchanges which appeared last year. It was wonderful to see new work by scholars receiving attention, and our pleasure to be able to highlight it in these retrospectives.
Our thanks to all our contributors in 2024 – authors, reviewers, editors and podcasts guests – for their contributions and support of the journal. We hope to see many of you back over the next 12 months with new articles, episodes and of course those all vital reviews.
